If you are not worried about period correctness, I recently bought a black cane creek forty in 1 inch which is very nice and lightweight.
If you want bling, Chris king. I do have a spare 1 inch version at the moment, I was planning on using it on a clockwork but black suited better hence the other purchase.
I am sure there are others out there too.
