SRAM BASSWORM

Looking for a SRAM BASSWORM? I had one on my bike years ago and found it to be a useful bit of kit. Not looking to break the bank though. They were only $10.00 brand new. I found one on eBay but damned if I'll pay $70 for it... Thanks.

If I've still got one I'm happy to let it go for a fraction of that. Remind me again what they were actually for? I bought one to use as intended but can't remember what for now as it wouldn't fit if memory serves.

Its a contraption that keeps tension on the rear mech. Aiding in shifting response and efficiency.
Thanks!! :)

Re:

it was to provide snappier shifting performance by giving better return resistance of the rear mech with the use of SRAM gripshift. another option was to swap out the spring in the Shimano rear mech with a stronger one. believe it was marketed as a Power Spring, forgot the manufacturer.
