I am finding that retro mountain bikes keep catching my eye when i'm out and about, so i'm thinking I should probably get one. Ideally I'd be after a whole bike or one that needs a little work although frame and forks would also be fine.
In an ideal world someone would have a raleigh dyna-tech in a lairy colour scheme however I'm also liking the look of old konas and marins. I know very little about mtbs so will also take suggestions. Certainly I'm after something rigid and steel with the aim to build a winter commuter.
I'm not sure when in comes to sizing as i've not had a mtb since i was a kid. I'm 6foot tall and ride a 56cm roadbike. I'm in and around Notts to aid collection.
