I just bought this and need the other spring so i can assemble that side too.
They all seem to look alike these springs so id think most are interchangeable :?
The spring on some old m600's ive got is made from round wire whereas the xtr is a bit thicker. I dont expect there to be any difference in performance is i fitted a lesser spring but if a spare is available then id rather fix it with the proper one
Its off the left side arm that is missing, the arm that has xtr on it

You can see from the pics its just the one spring missing and im guessing we all know that for the mechanisim to come away when off the bike isnt such a big deal because it all goes back together quite easily and the bolt holds it all tight :?
The stuck pad was no problem, i mean it undid quite easily so i wonder if the seller even attempted it :? Gave suddenly like it does when threadlock has been applied.
