I know that when Neilll visited Saracen HQ in Warwick a few years ago to scan their entire catalogue collection, he did say that the 1988 catalogue wasn't there.
Unfortunately, all that was left of the old Saracen company, after it's warehouse clear-out sale in December 2006 and the brand acquisition by Madison in 2009 was a lever arch files with some catalogues and a few bits of paperwork.

It would seem very odd if Saracen didn't produce a 1988 catalogue, bearing in mind how popular they were at the time. The Tufftrax was afterall the best selling bike in it's class in 1988.

Somebody must have one somewhere...

I have a feeling they didn't. I had one from the 88 range and tried in vain to get hold of a catalogue from various dealers.

There were a lot of that range featured in Mbuk that year too so i wonder if they were getting enough press. ?

Thought I found one but it's 87!, also found 89/90 and 92, as seen in archive. Darn it!
