I've a little something that might do the job...
One pair of vuelta deep profile rims in black with quando disc hubs and what I think are stainless spokes. Not flash but surely up to the task
I've no idea where they came from but have ended up in my shed, they're also pretty much as new. Both are straight and true, the spokes on the rear were a little loose but I've ran a key around them and all seems okay now. They'll take an 8 speed cassette and I'm fairly sure that the rims will work with v's - the sidewalls appear deep and meaty enough. A pic is below, the discs have since been removed. Say £25 posted?

Pair of specialized rims on DX hubs, nice condition, run true and good braking surfaces and will throw in a 7 speed cassette. £40 posted
