does any1 know how to read the serial number on the gt pantera on the zaskar its pretty straight forward, do the numbers on the pantera actually mean anything. and also any1 any idea where i can get new set of decaLs for pantera al think its a 92/93

I am no expert on serial numbers. But if you give us some decent pics I am sure we can figure out the model year by looking at frame details, cable hangers, colour, decals, gruppo. E.g. if the bike uses a U-Brake it is definately 1992, the first year Panteras were availbale.

By the way: the official frame size is measured centre bottom bracket - to centre top tube.
