Wanted : Suntour Freehub 7 Spd

Hi all,

Anyone got a SunTour 7Speed Freehub or whole rear hub that use's the type of freehub shown in the photo's.

Its held onto the hub by the axle and not a freehub bolt.

All suntour freehubs back then were held on that way. The question is, do you have a microdrive hub or not. The freehub bodies were different for the two.

Not exactly true, they used a bolt similar to Shimano, just from inside the hub. This switch changed in 1991 to make it all a bit more rigid and stronger.
MicroDrive used the bolt on system of course.

I see SJScycles has some suntour rear hubs for sale, anyone know if any of the 7 spd ones will be the type I'm after for the free hub?

Ok got another idea I've got a nos 36 hole xc pro hub with the freehub bolted on.

Anyone got a 32 hole suntour hub shell and/or a slight knackered/old suntour rear hub that I can put the good freehub on and re-build it into the wheel.
