not sure exactly what but some fresh tyres for the kona would be nice. think black walled and maybe 1.9's to compliment the skinny-ness of the bike. i'm a bit of a fair-weather fairy so nothing overly mud-oriented, and no z-max (bad memories from BITD)

if you're not to mud orientated, i like maxxis high roller 1.9 or 2.1, they roll quite well, also, old faithfull panaracer fire xc pro 1.8, all round good. i know there not retro but they work.

tyres are so much personal choice though, i have a stack in the garage, including z max! they're being saved for the proflex frame and forks i'm about to build! :D

I have a pair of NOS Onza RIP and RAIL tyres with black walls. I bought them for myself but may have sourced alternatives now. Let me know if interested. I should know quite soon if they are def' available.

Cheers
