IRD SWITCHBACK SPARES

Dug my IRD switch backs out of hibernation and need a lot of tlc,but as i remember they were really spongy and hard to set up,but imagine them with v-brake levers

but i`m missing the pully`s from the top anyone out there got any spares???

You stand more chance getting someone like B3 to machine some up as they were a little odd! I can give you dimensions if you need (although it may take some time as I'd have to dig it out of the loft:

Ahh, you have the original version 1s, nice! To be honest with decent V-brake levers pulling loads of cable you should be able to get away with standard wheels without the off centre cam type thing, bit like the old marinovate ones:

you should be able to bastardise either original avid rollamagics or those dmr front mech converters. Won't be cheap at Â£5-10 each though.

The next problem is getting the special hangers......
