I was looking a few months ago and shops around my way couldn't give the black powdercoat ss versions away. They were willing to split the bikes and sell the frames for buttons.

Not really, i was trawling a few shops for ideas for what bike to get from my company Cycle2Work scheme. Just saying that if you phone around a few Orange stockists you may still find some 06/07 P7's that they'd be willing to sell the frame only.
