7-speed HG freewheel (Shimano)

Looking for a replacement from about 1994, for a steel stumpjumper. No Megarange please!

Can buy new from Parker...but my original is much nicer looking. Can't see any markings or part no. on it though..all I can say is the 12t high gear cog is flush with the body so there is no recess to the front of the freewheel like the new ones...see picture.

Current ratio is 12t-28t, but i'd pref 11t, and def not 14t...

Looking at that pic, i'd say that's a cassette not a freewheel. Shimano actually still produce the old HG70 Silver 12-28 7 speed cassette. I fitted one to an old Orange in the workshop on Saturday, PM me if you want one - good price to retro-bikers!

Cassette

Thanks, i think i realised it was a cassette after i posted it, in bed at about about 12am! Should make buying one easier!

By the way can you answer me this:

i replced the LX crank set with an XT (old but unused-ish), and bought a new 7 spd shimano chain (best i could find). Now the chain jumps horribly...so that's why i'm trying to replace the cassette...do you agree that's what i need?
