It's the bit on the non drive side that stops them falling off!!

Any help or leads as to locating one would be appreciated.

Do you mean the little plate that fits like a washer on the cinch bolt and locates in a hole on the end of the spindle?

long and short; I couldn't find one and used this system to hold the cranks on, see end cap and bolt through the cranks

There called IRD keeper kits.
