As it says i'm looking for a 19" Kona Hot frame or bike. PM me if you have one you'd like to part with.

Man, be calm, you've only waited one day. For some, it takes years to slake their thirsts.

Have had a rethink and although my earlier post says i am looking specifically for a '96 Stars and Bars i will consider any of the mid nineties ones i.e. 93-97. Quite like the one with the Tange Prestige ribbed down tube, think its the '95 one. Thanks in advance if anyone has one.

The "Vintage, retro & Classic" forum at MTBR?
http://forums.mtbr.com/

You need to register to view most photos within the threads, but an old "Kona Hot" discussion has re-surfaced in the last couple of days.
http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=235613
It includes photos of a Hot with the fluted Tange downtube. Dated as a 1994. Because they were custom made by Tom Teesdale I don't think there were strict model years as such. Not sure.

Good luck with the quest and thanks again for the info re. the A'ha.

Cheers, mate.

Actually, I bid up to what I'd be happy to pay, but it eventually went a little higher (about EUR180).

It needed a fork and all the other parts (apart from the crank)... plus international shipping... It could have got a bit pricey so I decided not to get into a bidding war on this one. I still have a totally original Humu, after all.

There'll be another one... some time...
