I need a helmet mounted light, rechargeable as in with a battery pack and not aa's.
Anything going out there :?:
 
Helmet light

Hi I have one of the Canadian made BLT ones spare. Seperate Gel Cell, Helmet mount, CNC Machined Red Anodised light. The lamps are extremely bright- you can dazzle car drivers at well over half a mile away.
It cost me £159 quite a few years back, but the Gel Cell needs renewing, they are a standard size that fits in a Cordura waist pack. Let me know if any use? Thanks Philip
 
Phillip, sounds interesting, i will have a look into it later this afternoon.
I've got a day of visiting inlaws[ lucky me] I will post up a reply then.

Philip, have you got any more info and some pics :?: I cant find anything on blt lights with battery packs. They all seem to be all 1 unit type lights
and cheapo one's!! How easy would it be for me to source a new battery :?: And where would i get 1. Also is it a led or a halogen :?:

I will take some pictures later and post them if you let me have your Email addy? Gel Cells come in different sizes, but are a fairly standard replacement. It is Halogen, not LED, very bright crisp light .cnc machined anodised red sealed light unit.
