Yes they should. At least you have a 50/50 chance.
SOME 7-speed Aris freewheels are 6-speed with the smallest sprocket screwed into the next-smallest, which functions as lockring.
MOST are 7-speed with the smallest sprocket cog functioning as lockring.
8-speeds are ALWAYS 7-speed freewheels with the smallest sprocket screwed into its neighbour, which functions as lockring.
Telling the difference between the 2 is quite tricky.
If needs be, I have a NOS spare 8-speed freewheel with no sprockets.
