I have no idea what the responses mean on this thread...

that one on ebay has gone. I imagine (knowing the way ebay works) that the seller sold it for more than the minimum £2200 anyway (suitable tempting offer no doubt)..

I dont want full bike! Just frameset!

I didn't know that Steve Potts built these... check this interview (half way down) -

http://www.63xc.com/willm/spint.htm

Begs the question - what's in a name?? If you take the cachet attached to Castellano, whisk it with Ibis and then times it by Potts - haven't you got one of the most valuable frames in the world...???!!! 8)

Mr K - sleuthing...

I can see why it's saught after an all that, but not really my cuppa. Something about a top-seat tube not lining up with a lower-seat tube...

Looking at it makes me want to put a foot on the rear wheel and pull up on the saddle so at least the geometry works in some way...

Anyway, if you've got two grand floating round and you like it then...

Or, Jeremy, you could buy the Ultimate!

(unless yer planning to buy that too...!)

Buy the Ultimate
Buy the Ultimate!
