I just acquired an Alan cross frame (54cm) in OK condition, which is my next project.
As with most Alan frames, the original fork is missing (snapped probably).
The fork on the frame at the moment is probably hi-tensile steel - it weighs as much as the frame.
A fork or pointers to one would be greatly appreciated. I don't expect an Alan fork, but a nice lightweight alloy or steel fork would be nice.
EDITED
Thanks to Ebay I now have an original Alan alloy fork. Steerer not quite right but it'll do.
