Hi all, if anyone has (or could please keep eyes peeled for) a REAR Pro-Stop caliper I'd be extremely grateful! Cheers.

I've got what I thought was a very early Hope mechanical disc, but having looked at a Fisher RS1 on Ebay with Pro-Stops, I am confused!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180134784509&ssPageName=MERCOSI_VI_ROSI_PR4_PCN_BIX_Stores&refitem=180112973488&itemcount=4&refwidgetloc=closed_view_item&refwidgettype=osi_widget

Mine is just like pic 3 with a 6-bolt disc like pic 3 too! (Except mine has a fabricated mount to fit a 3.0 series Cannondale)
PM me for more details!

I am interested in any early hope disk stuff, 2nd dips with photos, the stuff on that ebay bike looks like hope, but the spring and rotor are different, and the seal on my hope is yellow, frighteningly similar.

my one...

Hi Corduroyboy thanks for the post.

What makes you think they're Pro-Stops on the Fisher?

Could be interesting though. Can anyone help clear this up please?

Cheers.

I'm starting to wonder who copied who... of course being british, Hope obviously was first.

I have a reciept for mine dated 17 December 91, I think I was one of the first.
