My DX Thumbies are getting so sloppy on indexing they're just becoming a PITA.

I need some replacements suitable for shifting 8sp M900, preferably in as 'new' condition as possible.

WHY? :)

bump...

My DX shifters are getting way too loose in their mounts now :(

Any idea what £30 is gonna get me in the way of 8 sp shifters? Preferably:

NOS DX Thumbies
VGC XT Thumbies
NOS Suntour XC Expert
VGC Suntour XC Pro

Cheers :)

Sorry, I don't have any thumbies available - kase1983 had my last pair of XT's. But if you are planning on parting with your DX thumbies I wouldn't mind stripping them for spares. Let me know, thanks.

Depends, would they mount to the clamps of XT thumbies? If so, i'll keep them. If not then i'll have no use for them.

The shifter units are identical. DX just have cheaper steel bar clamps and a "DX" labelled top cap.

yeah, that's what i thought :)

I'll hang on to them then.
