I know they're difficult to find, but I was hoping one of you folks might have one you'd be willing to part with.

Cheers

Yeah, I've seen Dr marzocchi's ones.
a bit pricey at 75 euros

That was a milling project im Germany, just 20 pieces as a test. Very expensive. :-/

Can't help it, but I realy lile the older casting one which has some cool handmade touch. I believe the casting was made by hand but don't know. ;)

Seems to be, yes. But look at all surfaces, none is plane. May be they did a handcrafted master?

Maybe try tumbling the parts? That would give a more rounded edges and more similar appearance to the original and give you more flexibility to make them by CNC. I would think if you also change your 3d model to have more domed panels you can get much closer as well.

My personal opinion is that a lower cost is more important than duplicating the production process. Which ever process can be done at a lower price, at the quantity you see demand for, if the parts look the same from 1 meter away and the function the same I wouldn't care how it was made.

I wouldn't even be bothered about them looking the same from a metre away.
as long as it works and looks tidy
