all-black front wheel wanted please

Devout Dirtbag
I’m looking for a black front 26” rim brake wheel with black braking surfaces, 100mm hub spacing, ideally 21mm inner width and QR hub. Cheers!

Re:

The closest you'll get to black braking surfaces are ceramic. Anything else will just wear off toute suite!

Re:

black hub, black rim, durable black braking surface, black spokes, black nips? Only one I can think of is Mavic Crossmax Ceramic.

Re:

Sorry, I should have been a bit clearer, an all-black rim is what I’m after, I’d be happy with a silver hub, spokes etc. I’m also not too worried about the durability of the finish on the braking surface. The finish on the rear wheel I’m trying to (approximately) match has partially worn off. It’s from a 1991 (I think) Raleigh Mirage.

Re:

Right, i've found these.
Number 1.
Black Quando hub, unbranded rim. Looks completely unused.

Number 2.
Unbranded silver hub
Weinmann rim.
Plenty of life left in it.

Number 3
I've also got a Quando hubbed front wheel, QR with a 25mm wide rim channel. Bit scruffy on the inside of the rim but looks unused as a rim braked wheel.

Prices are 10-15 ea depending on what you buy. I've read your original post and the bolt-on rear isn't what you're looking for, so i've fitted it to my Trekker lol

Re:

Wow, that rim with the Quando hub looks perfect! Any idea of the rim width? I'm only asking because I have 2.3" tyres waiting to go on.

How much for the pair posted?

Cheers

Gareth

Re:

Do you just want the two front wheels ?

You'd be looking at £20 plus around £15 postage via Royal Mail.

I can measure the widths if you want but they should be fine taking 2.3 tyres.
