Looking for whatever tidyish, front mechs you might have, to fit the Magnesium missile.
It's a 400lx so one of them, or XT or DX would be sweet too.

I could go with modern direct mount or maybe bb mount, but I'd like to get it close to period if possible.

I'm sure there's a little adapter/spacer/mount that you need as well as the mech.
I tried a modern direct mount mech on mine a few years ago and it didn't fit.
Maybe someone else with a Kirk will know for sure.

Thanks fella, when I wasn't looking, lots were on t'Bay, even cheap frames with the gubbins present, now it's threaders!

Saw your Kirk thread, that turned out very well, good to see it being used in the wild too!

Hi

They take a normal band on front mech but without the band and as highlighted above you need the clip that fits into the frame that the mech screws to

You shouldn’t have any problems with getting a mech but the clip will be PITA

This is all you need but top pull

Would appreciate if anyone had a clip available, or even could share detailed pics, of what It needs to look like or measure, so I could knock up something?
