As per the title please, bottle cage rivnut is dead so after a source or one if you have a spare please. Thanks in advance, Tim

They compress and grip either side of the hole. You have to get them tight though. The pliers to fit them are pricey and not always very good. This is better way to fit them in my experience.

Rivnuts can be bought in alu, steel and stainless steel. The ss can be very hard to comprees tight enough!

Cheers Kipper, I had thought alu would be best, PM’d Jon re what size he reckons should be used given my frames hole size.

Easy to fit with a bolt and a nut. Put nut on bolt then bolt in rivnut. Place rivnut in hole, hold bolt still and turn nut clockwise to pull up bolt and compress rivnut. Simple.
