I'm after some brake levers suitable for an early-mid 90's build with cantis.

Not wanting anything from Shimano- something a little more interesting, but still for sensible money. (I'm not talking Grafton here!)

X-Lite Chicken Stix would be ace as they're to go on a build with loads of British bits.

They need to be in reasonably tidy condition (or restorable), however this is for a rider so NOS isn't necessary.

Anyone got anything that may fit the bill?

I find SS-5s very nice, you can still find NOS on Ebay for sensible money too. Like here NOS in the box

Thanks for the pointer. The shipping to the UK lifts the price, but still not outrageous. I'll keep those in mind. :D

I have some chicken stix with XT thumbies on my commuter.

They’re an unusual bronze colour that goes with the colour on the thumbies.

They do have some small marks on the ends of the levers.

Pics in a minute.
