Probably a silly question, but the radial lacing on Gazz's front rim - is it weaker than normal criss-cross spoke lacing? I quite like the look, but is the disadvantage loss of strength, constantly having to retrue, etc?

they have been fine for me ZZ but the wheels are pretty bombproof anyway- think they are slightly weaker but for a racing snake like yoursell will be fine.

Aye, one of those snakes that's just swallowed a small child or a crocodile... I do try to 'ride light', although mostly it's just ride sh*te.

Mind you, haven't broke any spokes in a while :D

I've got a front that is 24 spoke radial and I must confess it used to give me the willies that it would collapse. However it has been fine so far, touch wood.
