Cheap food, wine & dashing young blades to oil up.
Getting driven up the climbs.
Scorchin sun and more suntanned young blades lying around drinking iced Grappa, waiting for action with like minded guys (sp?)
Nah rain.
Miles 'o' long dry, dusty DH, followed by evenings "at leisure" with like minded guys (sp?)

Hauled the White Lightnin' oot the shed, stripped it right down to its individual components, washed it properly and started rebuilding it. Lovely battered loud bike will be rebuilt as a SS for the first time ever. Got a DMR Revolver hubbed 130mm OLN wheel winging its way through the post, I hope with this plan in mind 8)

I wish I could afford a weeks mtb in Italy, Kaiser you lucky b****** but then I work for the government. But I might get a single day out of a week in Tenneriffe in February as there appears to be great mtb trails and guided rides with hire bikes, but then again I might not as even this holiday might be beyond my funds
