Well that was a good ride. Nice to see Rob actually out on a bike instead of on here buying up the classifieds.
Even Jim gave the ride a ringing endorsement ( "It's better than I thought it would be")
Less than 200ft climbing in a 20 mile ride, but the rolling nature of the trails mean there's very little rest, (except the crepe shack).
Much to Jim's amazement there was very little innuendo, proving that it must be the rest of you that are responsible for it and not me. It was even him that commented that I was packing (Cadbury's) fudge, when it came to snack time. Nearly as bad a Rob's text warning he might be late because the Police wanted to talk to him about someone being rear-ended in the street in front of him. (true story)

Hopefully more photos from the others later, but here mime of the knob comparing competition, with Jim feeling very inadequate and Rob having the admit that I edge him girth wise.

Thanks Clubby, it really was a good day of cycling, I was a little dubious about going "mountainbiking" on what I thought was basically a flat sandy expanse of beach, but as it turned out there was some decent single-track in there and enough short sharp ups & downs to keep us amused for a few hours, and the Crepe Shack was like an oasis in the vast expanse of sandy woodland :D

Anyway, mine may have lacked girth, and been rather flaccid today, but I'm genuinely converted to tubeless now I think.

Onto the photos....

I'm thinking we should have a monthly "Caption Competition " thread, and the last photo is a prime candidate imo.
We could call it "MacRetro Craption Competition"

What happened to the last photo? Had to delete my post as it was meaningless without the image!
