Just in case you're thinking of using Culra, it's now closed due to the danger from asbestos.
Info here, http://ukbothies.freeforums.org/culra-b ... t1977.html

Although said to be "closed" that thread says it's/it was "unlocked". Still plenty of choice for camping though. My wife and I had a great weekend camping one winter in past the bothy. There were huge lumps of peat scattered about on the flood plain of the burn having been washed out from it's banks. Nae need tae collect loads of firewood, had a lovely big peat fire.

Are we talking about cycle in then hillwalk, then cycle out? That's what I was gonna do again because I ran out of time last year and missed one of the munros.

Difficult to create a circular cycle route I think. The cycling is very easy landrover trackall the way into Culra bothy, apart from the last mile or so which is bumpier.

If Culra's shut then it can be done in and out in a day easy enough.

:D
