7.2 miles? That's my kind of distance! Retro team? At least one good pub in Houston for after (or during) ride refreshment...

I'd be up for that

Although upon studying the calendar the 1st September 2013 is a Sunday, the advert seems to refer to 2012 :?

I ride that road regularily. I don't think I have the stamina to TT it out and back. I often bump into guys on TT bike training on that stretch and they're flying along.
And I doubt it will be on this year as there is a huge new housing estate being built at the old Royal Ordnance factory and the rendezvouz point and works traffic access point is on this road between Loanhead Cottage and Netherfield. As a result there has been an big increase in traffic , especially tipper lorries.
