In conjunction with a loose amalgum of NE & Yorkshires finest I offer you a mid festivities visit to Glentress to work off those post Christmas food and drink excesses before knuckling down to more on Hogmanay :D

I'm proposing Saturday 29th December as it might allow those who have to work between Christmas and Hogmanay a chance to join in and most everything should be fully operational.

Main Carpark at Glentress, 10 for 1030am

Plan being, show up on whatever bike, even Surly's, its Christmas afterall (retro is not a rule), have a ride and talk rubbish as usual. Then retire to a hostellry for some grub and more witty repartee before heading homeward.

Interested parties please post up

I might be down visiting the GF's family in Hawick so it could be a good excuse to slope off for a few hours.

Probably not. Night shift weekend and no chance of getting time off. Then there's the family christmas period thing going on.
