I'll try to work out some arrangements for some grub, if some of the locals want to get their heads together and come up with a route.

BTW are there any picnic tables or owt? Hows the midgie factor?

As a died in the wool working class Scot what time do you mean when you say dinnertime?

Is that lunchtime dinner or teatime dinner?

Teatime dinner. Your second dinner. Evening dinner. Dinner dinner.

To pinch a bit of one of Velo's ideas, if anyone is wanting to get all gourmet. We could all bring a dish and have a 'Bite of the Ride' compie.

Right you are.

Teatime. I've been wary of it since I told an Australian that worked with me to come in at dinnertime and he turned up at six just as I was finishing for the day.

Late July is bad for me but I'll see what I can do.

Late July not great for me either, work starts to get hectic, unpredictable finishing times etc.

Is anyone likely to be camping? I could sort a Saturday morning ride if required.
