Anyone fancy a ride in the beach criuse stylee, laid back bike, bermuda shorts, sunshine and a shoreline ride. We could even roll in the picnic idea. Could be east, west anywhere with some sweet coastal trails/roads? [/list]

Sounds good, parts of Fife have good coastal paths and you can do a good 20miles of riding along side the coast from dundee up past carnoustie,

Alternatively the forth clyde canal path out of edinburgh used to be nice similar style with different scenery.

Good beach outside Kaiser's hoose - BBQ and tinnies afterwards

OR

Visit Jamie and do Sinclair's Bay in Caithness :D

Sounds interesting. What kinda ride are you proposing?

Been enjoying the bullmoose bars and wicked and the more relaxed ride so thought a summer ride by the coast would be fun, mix of offroad and road. Given the coastline we have up here should be easy to find a day run. Coast walk up by st andrews is pretty nice but i dont know if it is really good riding. Mr panda's road is a great example of the kind of routes I have in mind-laid back california ray-ban cool.

How about something like along the Fife coast and stopping at the Anstruther fish and chip shop for grub?
