Aldi has some 500 luminum free lights in for 10.99 got the 3yr warrenty as well you'll need a strap to fit it to the bike though.

had a look at them at lunchtime- look good quality but I don't need one so cant say for sure.

Are these the ones that run on 3AAA batteries?

If so, someone over at singletrack did a few sums and reckoned runtime would be about 40 minutes. Possibly a good candidate for a bit of homebrew 18650 battery pack shenanigans.

Just read the instructions you can set it to max or reduced power by partially holding in the on/off button time given on one set of batteries at max is 10hrs and at reduced running at 35-50% 14hrs.....only one way to find out.

if you look into the emitter then switch it on , how long before you can see properly again?
