After fair enjoying myself last night I couldn't help but think that there's no better way to spend a Friday evening! Would folks be interested in a semi regular(once(ish) a month) Friday night ride?

Despite not making it last night, I'd be up for it in future. It might works best as a local thing? Or somewhere central? Any trails at Harthill? I know I'll not be able to stray all that far after work on a Friday.

Yes but last night cost 30 quid in petrol and chips, so not too often, I might manage once a month/6 weekly.

I'm well up for it but as with Rumble would like more local trails, would have loved last night but know for sure even if i could have knocked off early i could'nt have faced the drive down (and back) after driving all week.

Aye central beltish would be good, I reckon I wouldnae mind travelling for 2 hrs max mibee? Not to say if we find something that is centralish that we couldn't revisit? I think Carron Valley for instance would be good, what abot the Pentlands?

Was gonna suggest Carron Valley, Pentlands could work also. I've never ridden there in the dark though, not yet anyway...

As per my earlier post night ridings not for me but if your going to do it I'd suggest Carron Valley is the better bet. Pentlands are open, few tree lined sections. Lights seem to work best where there is plenty of close up stuff to illuminate plus twisty trail with jumps etc is more fun.

Only riding in the dark for me will be my commute back from work, thats tough enough for me
