Weather was just about right, rain mostly stayed off, but Blairadam was muddier than Muddy Waters making mud pies in a mud bath while holidaying at Mud Springs Colorado.

Mikee knew beforehand he'd be the only one to clear the sketchy descent

I was going to type something but the huge photo dump says it all

Drive side bearings have been eaten on my rear wheel possibly by voracious gremlins. I need better gremlin seals but what the heck it was a great ride and the tree branch I rammed has thankfully not punctured my ribs

I vote we get a Lommonds run in soon ;)

Damn it, missed a cracker there :( , did'nt commit to this during the week as i was supposed to be working today, got a call last night to say work was canceled, wish i'd came over now

Nice LTS DH Mike  , had that long ?, Tnega's old one ?, still miss mine, one of the best handling full sussers ever

looks like you guys had a blast

mike , that does look like daves old gt :?

rob , get that bloody kona stab built ;)

zz , that moho looks ace btw ;)

yup thats daves LTS DH ,i agreed to buy it on saturday afternoon
so 5 hours of fettling later it was ready for a shakedown run this morning
hell fire it s good ,still gota sort out the front chainring/device/tripple ring mech bit as the chain drops off occasionaly but apart from that its great
climbs ,descends nimble and rides over anything

ZZ's moho is a really nice bike , just sort the wee issues out and thats gonna be a stunner
had a wee pootle in it spdf's and high seat post prevented serious testing tho , like it ,a lot

do i look about 4'6" tall in some of those pics ?

Looked like a great day - annoyed I couldn't make it.

Zigzag you make that moho look like a kids bike, how much post is actually in the frame? :)

Looks like a topper of a day out, but why so few pictures :?:
Ach I know - Sorry Gazz, I'll try harder next time.

TK - seatpost is right on the limit line, funny though pretty sure it's a M frame, although a large isn't all that much bigger. Fits me reasonably well, and I don't mind if a frame is a tad on the small side.

mikee's ex-tnega LTS was a revelation. Looked a bit chopper like, but didn't feel it, really tight too. Totally spot on, did not feel it's age at all - nothing needed changing.
