I'm replying to this just so the thread avoids tumbleweeds.
You Kaiser are pretty much one of the only actively competative MacRetro and the only one with a CX bike(yes I know CX bikes are not compulsary). Consequently I reckon your on your own bud but we'll read about your exploits with interest.
Closest thing to CX I'll do is SS and thats similar only because I spend more time pushing/carrying the bike than riding it and its knackering :lol:

I'm competitive (in the sense that I enter events, not that I finish near the top of the field), and this thread did pique an interest for me. Having said, that, I'd want a CX bike to do it on and if I came home with another bike I'd be taken outside and shot.

Been playin with the idea, but no cx bike :?

Pity glenrothes was not in this years line up, really liked that race 8)

Chaps mountain bikes are fine for all but the championships I believe. Can at the least give you taster :)

takes in a wee bit of the milder urban trails
wonder why its not being run this year , theres a shit load od cx riders
in the town

Ye thats the one, nasty set of steps to run up, phew! Sent me to the redline a good few times :D muddock and achentoshan are a1 courses though.

Nasty valley desent and a wall to run up at achentoshan, saps the legs :lol:

First race on Sunday at Irvine.

Had a smashin day, got totally pumped but twas to be expected :) Still the only way is up! I anxiously await the results.

Next round Plean on the 16th. I'm determined to rope one of youse intae a go.

Well in K. I'll nip up and crew for you on that one, definitely no risking anything as radical as actually riding it though.
