The WHW route looks like a nice sort of inbetween of a tarmac route with a traffic free vibe.

Ah, so the previous photo was a bit deceptive. I did the WHW about 20 odd years ago and can genuinely not remember a single mile of it.

So would we be doing this on roadbikes, i.e. staying off the WHW and going up the A82? Or would it be a mtb ride up the WHW and down the etive road?

I couldn't make midweek either and to be honest my road bike only comes out if it is dry.

I don't have a road bike. Or any suitably ridiculous clothes to wear on one.
