I almost bought one of those Konas back in the day but for some reason couldn't handle the idea of a green bike

The folly of youth.

As mentioned on the other thread my new (to me) frame arrived. Turns out it's a 26.4 seatpost. Handy.

The other thing is this little mystery frame detail. on the inside of the driveside seatstay. I've never had a frame with one on it before so therefore don't know what it is.

Any ideas?

Chain hanger, you pop the chain up on that when you take the wheelk out, keeps it out of the road

Really?!? Why have never had one before? And why doesn't every bike have one?

And how can I be really sure you aren't making that up?

And does the sheer happiness I feel at my chain hanger make up for the bloody awkward 26.4 seatpost?

I've decided you're making it up.

But it makes sense so maybe you're not.

I need a lie down.

Loads of my frames have one and I'm not making it up but I've never found them useful
