Not sure on the date but Im thinking very early 90's Im gonna bell DY him self because Ive heard he can date the frame from the frame number. I'll be keeping it fully Retro maybe Suntour XC or Shimano XT its not incredibly light but its give off a vibe 8)

One last question regarding the DY's do I use it as is OR do I get it re-painted by Dave Yates in the same colour?

Use as is, make sure it's a keeper and then see if you want to paint it- simples
