Who are the Macretro's heading to Belgium next year?
Regardless whether your riding retro or not.
I'm not strictly riding retro as I have sold lots of my retro kit as well as my M2 SS to build up my new SS ride. Nothing too flash but something I have wanted for a while.
So far we have:

My intention is to not take this event at all seriously and thus a silly bike might be chosen, maybe a Raleigh Twenty but then so might something sensible, not decided

No, nothing too serious as thats not what its about.
I just wanted to build up a nice dedicated singlespeed as its about the only thing I ride now, besides my roadie
I sold a few things and saved a bit to buy a new frame and hopefully will have it how I want it for this event, it will be a work in progress as funds permit. Nothing extravagent, just stuff that works for me.
If its half as good as SSEC2010, then it will be a great weekend with good people, with the bonus that I'll be on holiday with the family for at least 10 days :D

would an adult sized kids wooden walky bike be considered single speed, that would be a laugh.

Singlespeed World Championships are in Ireland next year.

So the choice is between......

Guiness, weather and Craic

Stella Artois, Tintin and brightly coloured rucksacks

Tough call.

Belgian Beer, Chocolate and Chips (they invented them) sound like my ideal bike run :)
