Brutal :o really humbling, any notion that I was still carrying a bit of fitness was soon evaporated, I was one of the last of the finishers I think. I could tell you its not really my forte blah blah blah, but 3 months of cakes and beer and no quality cycling was the real culprit! Still I'm going again, not hooked but dedicated to do better. :) The only way is up as Yazz says.

should have got the dale- blame the bike :wink:

if you struggled then i would have died, well in for completing it and as you say lots of room to "move on up" as "five" once said.

I was going to blame the bike, theres a wee set of hurdles to jump over and when I jumped back on the bike the saddle dropped an inch or so. But the blame could equally be apportioned to my fat ass! :lol:
