I was going to go for the tesco one as it is a tenner just now :)

I think a light discussion at the dunkeld meet would be good - I got the wee MTB Scotland wild trails book and I can't put it down for all the routes I want to try.

I've got it too, good innit. I'm hoping to get top Mugdock in the next few weeks and I'm going to do the Wanlockhead run. Mibee try the trossachs one too.

Careful - it can be awful drafty roon The Trossachs

Skye - a lot on - do we do Skye or round the Ben or both?

If Easter-ish we'll need to get skates on re logistics.

bunkhouses near both venues.

Poll to follow 8)

At risk of peaking too soon  it looks like Skye's gonny win the poll 8)

So in order to expedite arrangements I suggest we do the following:

Stay at Sligachan bunkhouse or campsite. If bunkhouse we need to book, if camping we don't need to book. Bunkhouse £16/night, camping around £7/night. More for the comfy Hotel option. http://www.sligachan.co.uk/sligachan-hotel.php

Saturday - Sligachan loop (approx 50km)

Sunday - Quiraing or Trotternish loops (approx 10 - 20km, or longer if preferred)

:P

Nevis route better in summer

so - Skye dates..............

@TK - do you want / are you allowed to tag a Skye weekend onto your Dornoch week as you're up that way anyway, sort of? From Dornoch you'd just hop down to Dingwall and across to Kyle

Not sure, i'll look into it , skye camping in April might be a bit hardcore, but i'll go with the masses. I'd prefer the bunkhouse.
