There was at least one guy on a SS 29er with rigid carbon forks and quite a few SSers who passed me

I'm liking this enduro racing format even if my times are rubbish and I can probably be free for the 10 at Kirroughtree.

Next few Saturdays I'll be doing multiple laps of Glentress Blue on the SS in practice for Strathpuffer Lite

I prefer the team enduro format, the recovery time in between laps makes all the difference for me. Not sure I'm quite ready for a 10hr duo, but the triple worked out pretty well. Anyway, I think we exorcised the ghost of Kielder this weekend.

I've been looking at the results and thinking, 'why didn't I force myself to do another lap?' - even if it took 1h30, we'd have place 48th. I think I'm in danger of taking this a bit too seriously

Misty Law? Sounds pr0n star-ish - start a thread and count me in.

As DaveG here pointed out my training consists of stopping eating bacon rolls 2 days before an event. I might need to do more next year.

I reckon snapping my chain cost me 10 to 15 minutes so that puts me in the elite level of people that only "trained" on 2 rides before the event.

Was still a great weekend though, despite us not winning.
