My bombers have sprung a leak around one seal :(
Shop service is a non starter at about 60 quid  ,probably best i do it myself, and its the only job on a bomber that i havent attempted[reason enough]
I was hoping one of you chaps have the tools, which are the oil seal remover and the oil seal press and i could borrow it from you at the fort this weekend,
possibly even service them there :?
Failing that CRC have them and the seals for a total of £31
Not too bad a price now i come to look at it :?

never buggered a set yet

But what about the freezer?

i've left the door open and had to chip tons of ice off it twice now   but it still works tho :D

:? Please explain why you put the seals in the freezer? is it just to firm them up so they push in easier without deforming? or that it shrinks them some.

it's a 20 minute job andy ;)

Excellent thanks Eck
The seals have just arrived from CRC [with a free CRC 25th anniversary waterbottle ]
Im now tempted to bring the forks/seals/tools with me to do it at the Bill, what with experienced Z2 aficionados being about,if i get stuck they can offer advice/takeover :D ;)

I've got a step by step guide with pictures in the house i can loan you ;)

when you've done it once you'll never forget/look back :)
