Got them done Gazz, now they're sweet and buttery once again
The real difficulty was getting the old ones out, they were incredibly tight, but they did eventually pop out
One flew out with such force that i cant find it anymore
Putting them in was far easier and really was a doddle

since I was doing mine at the same time and using what dyna-ti came across as reference of what to expect (many thanks :p)

Seals

CRC sell them if pre 2003 bombers then you want the 30mm pre 2003 seals and maybe bushings if you think you need them
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... odelID=137
30mm 2oil and 2 dust I think, Enduro seals also make replacements
Bushing
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... odelID=743 1997 to 2002

Oil CRC sell 7.5wt
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... delID=8399 far more than you'll need so don't worry about wasting a bit or using a bit to flush the forks clean (mine take 50cc)
I only got that brand as it was in stock and they did 5wt I needed as well.

Or try ebay, you may be lucky.

Yes mine where a bugger to get out as well, I kept dripping the fork oil down the side if it lifted and I could get some in. Though with the weather as worm as it is it may be easier than when we had the freezing spell, lol.
Though they can take some force, they do come out and there is no damage, well other than to you arms ;)

£6 for 500ml
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... delID=8399

if its Z2 you have then its 7.5wt you will need

I got my seals out by putting a 12" long flat bladed screwdriver in ,holding it right at the end of the handle, gripping the fork leg right down at the dropout.
Place knee behind and strain with all your might
Best to remove and replace both the inner and outer seals.May as well as if after you put the outer seal in ,you find it needs the inner seal as well, then its new outers too as you cant reuse them once you take them out,new or old
Best save the hassle and do them both
