Ah so they do! They are Marin’s finest investment cast dropouts as they like to call them.
It’s a 94 Pine Mountain - in need of some love... battle scarred

I have a gravel 20" bike....

I'm up for a 20" gravel ride. Bet we could drag Velo out for that.

Funnily enough I reckon my Bickerton could be made gravel ready and my Dahon Classic already is and it has 16" wheels. Have done gravelesque stuff on a Brompton in past as well
