Change of plan, I'm going out on my bike regardless on 28th but I'm keeping it local to me, a bit of north Midlothian and south Edinburgh.

Park up on The Loan, Loanhead by EH20 9AJ ready to ride by 11am. I'll take anyone who shows on some of Velo's trails and chuck in a pub on route for a coffee or whatever.

Be there or dont and ride what you bring :xmas-big-grin:

I went out on Festive Frolics ride on my old Rudge folding mtb. That was the soul retrobike connection. The other rider was Alison a friend from my former work on a modern 29er.
We rode around the old shale quarry, the paths around Mortonhall estate and climbed to the viewpoint over Edinburgh on the Braid Hills. Weather was good and trail riding fun.

However I feel Festive Frolics is dead in the water as an event. Other than me and Alison whom isn't even a retrobike member no one else was there. Whats the point ????
If you want to do it next festive period then I am not organising it !
