Congratulations oneschnark, great win.

:? Pity tallpaul and neil couldnt discuss their little battle through pm's it was boring to read their comments, and who give a $hit and there is no such rules, it's free world, people can vote who they want, it took the shine of the winner's moment of glory

constructive as ever mate

Then don't. It's really that simple.

Or did somebody make you?

So long as your scroll wheel on your mouse, or the page down key on your keyboard isn't broke, simply skip past those things you don't wanna read.

I read the few posts of tallpaul v neil battle and it got boring but it did drag on a few more pages, which it was unneeded really.

It was about who is right and having the last word

who's right and won?

With the winner only getting 16% of the vote, and it being so close, I wonder if BoTM would benefit from a two-stage vote i.e. open nominations for seven days, poll all entrants for two weeks then take the top three bikes through to a final poll. It would certainly be interesting...

Not reading much of the follow up to this suggestion, but I quite like it (would have meant a possible win for my RC200 that came second by 1 vote iirc, but seemed to be mentioned by many as a second choice :P  )

Proportional representation is the way forwards!

... with the eye rolling...

But no it wasn't, although I can't speak for tallpaul, I don't believe it was for him, either. I think it was simply an exchange of opinions on the subject, which: 1) you didn't have to read, so it's a bit silly to complain about and 2) you are behaving remarkably similarly, here.

Still...

as you were, carry on, and all that.
