Wow. I just can't believe that Marin is headed to the cool wall. What's next, Balance?!?

Maybe a simple majority vote isn't the way to do it...seems too easy for 'pretty good I guess' to pass for 'cool'. You'll have to start a "No Really, this time we mean COOL Wall"

I agree, there should be a 'meh' section of the wall for close votes

Exactly, people will look at this site and laugh. All who call themselves Retrobikers will be mocked and pelted with Alivio in the streets.

Come on guys, in the early to mid 90's, from the Eldridge Grade up to the Team Titanium, those were and still are super cool bikes, please have a good check of the catalogs here : http://www.mtb-kataloge.de/html/marin.html
I've read somewhere that Joe Murray was involved in Marin bikes design of that era, thanks for correcting me, but if it's true how can Marin be "uncool".
Maybe uncool votes are based on the fact that Marin had a low end range and seriously it's unfair to blame them for that.

MARIN : COOL, COOL, COOL !

Oh and by the way this Titanium FRS is mine and is yet to be restored (yes I know the tires and crankset are surprising but that's how I bought the bike. I have a NIB Shimano XT M730 waiting to be put on it)

That would make a cracking project.

It really needs some Silver Toplines though.

If ever you're bored of that bike, give me a shout!

I can see that you, sir, are a connoisseur !
I'll keep your request in mind but in the meantime can you tell me where can I find XTR shifters in good working order for cheap :D :D :D !
Mines are busted and I imagine repairing them is impossible, please instruct me.

I'll include the most recent image of my Marin Ultimate project from my bland collection of neutral riding Marin bikes.

Seriously uncool...
